Welcome to Graphic Arts!
Dave Crouch, Graphic Arts Manager
For 33 years David Crouch has ably cared for designing, printing and mailing the CCC’s brochures, fliers, program materials, directories, and policy books. He and his wife had their own print shop before God miraculously led them to the CCC, but “it was not nearly as rewarding as working here to support the church,” he says.
Crouch enjoys serving people and seeing a job through from conception to completion. He adds, “The biggest thrill is seeing how God intervenes in every project, because He has an interest in what materials we send out under His name.”
When not at work, Crouch enjoys time with his wife and daughter and pursuing his interest in motorcycles and bicycles. He is passionate about Men’s Ministry and invests time into mentoring younger men to be godly husbands and fathers. “I just want to be more like Christ,” he says, “so that together we as men can make a difference in the world for Him.”
Karla Cummings, Graphic Arts Clerk/Mail Room
“I do all the actual grunt work,” jokes Karla Cummings about her work in graphic arts. She has spent the last 14 years at the conference doing printing, binding, billing, etc. and managing the CCC’s full-service mailroom. Prior to this she worked in Trust Services and the ABC.
Her daily interactions with the post-woman, UPS driver and various other service people give her many opportunities to witness. Karla keeps a small sharing rack by the door and gives a little tract or something similar to each service person she meets. “It’s my privilege and my joy to share my faith with them,” she says. “I love working in a Christian environment where it’s okay to witness and people understand when you kneel down to pray.”
Karla enjoys reading and traveling with her husband Robert, a retired artist. The Cummings have three grown children, Bryson, Kamryn, and December, all married, and two precious grandbabies. Karla is also actively involved in her local Orosi church’s ShareHim outreach, and Sabbath School and Women’s Ministries.
“Jude 24-25, ‘To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.’ is the most amazing promise to me,” says Karla. “Nothing compares to the promise we have in Him!”
